British-American clarinetist Liam Cameron has established himself as a rising talent, performing as a soloist, chamber musician, and section clarinetist in Vietnam, Thailand, Scotland, Canada, and across the USA. He has been a soloist with the IHS World Orchestra Vietnam, Spokane Symphony, Spokane Jazz Orchestra, Central Washington University Symphony Orchestra, the MasterClass Big Band, and at the Amnesty International Conference 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand. As a performer his focuses include genre cross sections, improvisation, and application of Lindeman-Sobel Technique. Championing new music, he has collaborated with with composers such as Edmar Colon and R.K. Kahale to bring their musical ideas to life.

With 46 pieces from solo violin to wind ensemble, his music has been described as “simple and nostalgic”. By drawing from Brits like Anna Clyne and Americans like Aaron Copland, Cameron creates music that is listenable and deeply sentimental. With a proclivity for chamber music, he has over 30 compositions for small ensembles. Cameron’s music has been performed at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Zamora (Spain), Universidad Nacional de las Artes (Argentina), at the Conservatory of Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), and by members of the Spokane Symphony.
